I work as a speech therapist with children, adolescents, and adults. In children's rehabilitation, my special expertise includes the rehabilitation of unclear speech (speech motor skills), developmental language disorder, and eating difficulties, as well as supporting early interaction and speech and language development. Additionally, I have strong skills in guiding bilingual and multilingual families and rehabilitating the language skills of multilingual children. My work also involves the extensive use of AAC methods (augumentative and alternative communication: pictures, signs) and guiding families and other people in child's everyday life in their use. For bilingual and multilingual families, I create a family language plan together with the family and guide them on suitable strategies and methods for everyday life to support the language development of bilingual and multilingual children. As a mother in a bilingual family, I also have personal experience on the subject. I guide parents of young children who are concerned about early language development (late talkers/delayed speech and language development). I develop concrete strategies and methods for the family to support communication development in everyday life. For adults, I provide articulation rehabilitation (e.g., the R sound) and guidance for safe eating.
