Nora Hermansson

I provide speech therapy in both Finnish and Swedish, as well as guidance in English. I enjoy working with children, conducting both assessments and rehabilitation. I have gained experience particularly in the rehabilitation of articulation errors, speech motor and language difficulties, supporting interaction and communication challenges, and guiding the child's environment. As a therapist, I am warm and attentive, and my approach is always child-centered and individualized, also considering the wishes of the family. I find it particularly important that the child feels comfortable in therapy, as a safe and relaxed therapeutic relationship lays the foundation for success together. I am particularly interested in the rehabilitation of children's language and speech motor difficulties and in considering neurological aspects in therapy. Additionally, I am interested in the rehabilitation of voice disorders in adults, especially challenges related to gender dysphoria.
