Everyone has their own path toward wellbeing – sometimes we need a companion to walk alongside us. I am a physician and a psychotherapist from Bulgaria, who made Finland my second home over 20 years ago. I graduated in medicine in Bulgaria and later became a psychotherapist at the University of Eastern Finland. I have also trained as a supervisor (work-place wellbeing), in mindfulness and ecotherapy methods, and as an Integrative Nutrition coach. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (CBT/ACT) approaches. I integrate these with mindfulness, compassion-focused methods, somatic approaches, and the healing power of nature. I also draw on perspectives from medicine, nutrition science, neuroscience, animal and nature-assisted methods, and philosophy. I am a listening, engaged, and compassionate conversation partner who strives to create space for exploring both everyday challenges and deeper processes. I believe that curiosity can open new perspectives and help in finding hope and resources even during difficult times. My particular areas of interest and expertise include burnout, anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, and challenges brought by life transitions. I also have extensive experience working with themes of multiculturalism and neurodiversity. Each encounter is a unique journey toward understanding and wellbeing – I feel privilleged to walk alongside you as a listening and compassionate companion.
