Hi, I’m Saara, a psychologist. My approach is conversational, active, and gently challenging when needed. I aim to understand your situation holistically, so that, together, we can clarify your goals, values, and desires – and gradually encourage you build a meaningful life that truly reflects who you are. With experience in both public and private sectors, I’ve worked with youngsters and adults – particularly athletes and those facing performance pressures. My background as a competitive athlete and fitness instructor influences my interest in performance and unlocking one’s potential. At the same time, I believe in the importance of self-compassion. I work with various themes, including: • Anxiety • Performance pressures and coping with failure • Inner demands and stress • Eating challenges • Motivation, goals, and values I also offer support for: • Depression and anxiety • Sleep difficulties • Life crises and relationship challenges I believe that self-awareness is the foundation for both well-being and living a meaningful life. In our work together, we’ll focus on strengthening actions that are aligned with your values, nurturing self-compassion, and developing mindfulness – all aimed at helping you live a life that’s truly your own. You are warmly welcome to my practice, no matter the theme – just as you are. Sessions are primarily held remotely, but in-person meetings can be arranged where possible. Feel free to reach out in your preferred language – Finnish, English, Swedish, or French. I’m fluent in all of these, though I may reply in Finnish, my native language.
