Remote consultation
Who am I? I am a psychologist interested in working with children and adolescents, neuropsychiatric conditions, and the school environment. I graduated in 2023 and have worked for two years as a school psychologist in a comprehensive school, providing support sessions for children, parental guidance, consultation for the school community, and psychological assessments. During my psychology studies, I focused particularly on cognitive psychology and neuropsychology. I am currently studying medicine (first-year medical student) and conducting research with the epilepsy team at the New Children’s Hospital (HUS) on surgical treatment methods for epilepsy. I also serve as the teddy hospital coordinator for FIMSIC Helsinki, aiming to reduce children's fear of doctors and to help medical students develop skills in interacting with young patients. What is it like to work with me? I am a cheerful, warm, and effective psychologist who genuinely believes in the power of meaningful encounters grounded in the world of the child or adolescent—and in the strength of collaboration among adults. In our work together, we can explore issues related to learning, concentration, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and behavior. Together, we’ll look for new solutions—both within the child or adolescent themselves and in the everyday environments of home and school. I have received positive feedback from clients and their networks for my ability to connect naturally with children and adolescents, and for creating authentic relationships with them. School communities and teachers have appreciated my guidance and support on matters related to student well-being and modifying the school environment. My supervisors have praised my initiative, fast pace of work, and ability to understand the complex systems within which many challenges faced by children and adolescents emerge. I deeply believe that there is a solution to everything—hopefully, you will too, soon!
