Who am I? I am a psychologist with a particular interest in neuropsychiatric conditions and learning, and I have experience working in school settings, with children and adolescents, and in multidisciplinary collaboration within healthcare. In my clinical practice, I provide support for difficulties related to attention and concentration, social interaction, emotional well-being, and learning, as well as school absenteeism. I also conduct psychological assessments and neuropsychiatric evaluations. I graduated as a psychologist in 2023. During my psychology studies, I focused especially on cognitive psychology and neuropsychology. I am currently studying medicine (Licentiate of Medicine, L2) and conducting research with the epilepsy team at the New Children’s Hospital (HUS) on surgical treatments for epilepsy. What is it like to work with me? I am a cheerful and warm psychologist who takes time to truly listen and engage with each client’s concerns, and I believe that many challenges can be solved through collaboration. I have received positive feedback from clients and their families for my empathetic approach and my ability to build genuine connections. School communities and teachers have also given me positive feedback on my ability to guide and support adults in a child’s or adolescent’s network regarding well-being and adjustments in the school environment. My supervisors have praised my initiative, fast work pace, and my ability to understand the broader context in which many of my clients’ challenges arise.
