Anna Korelin

I am a clinical psychologist and a doctoral researcher specializing in developmental psychology. I provide one-to-one sessions with adults and adolescents, and support for parents navigating parenthood, offering guidance in strengthening parent-child relationships and managing everyday family dynamics. My interests include mood difficulties such as depression and anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, overgenerational attachment style transmission, and developmental trauma and crises. Over the years, I have gained diverse experience across multiple settings - I have worked in family counselling, schools, mental health and substance abuse clinic, and crisis center. I have experience in supporting families through complex relational and emotional challenges from various cultural backgrounds. My aim is to create a safe and supportive space to explore behavioral and developmental concerns. As a psychologist I am empathic, mindful, and sensitive. In addition to Finnish, I speak fluent English and understand Russian fluently.  In addition to clinical work, I am pursuing a PhD in Developmental Psychology at University of Helsinki. In my research I explore mother-child relationships, mother’s reflective functioning, and their impact on attachment and socio-cognitive development in children.
