Olen Merja Jelekäinen, valmistunut fysioterapeutiksi reilu 20 vuotta sitten. Olen kiinnostunut ja käynyt koulutuksia neurologisesta fysioterapiasta. Asiakaskuntani koostuu lapsista, nuorista sekä aikuisista. Minulle työssäni on tärkeää kohdata asiakkaat, kuntoutujat aidosti ja auttaa heitä saavuttamaan tavoitteitaan. Kuntoutujan toimintakyvyn edistymiselle tärkeitä tekijöitä ovat hänen ja lähiverkoston saumaton yhteistyö, johon minä terapeuttina saan osallistua. Hyödynnän neurologisessa kuntoutuksessa Vasa Concept-kuntoutusmenetelmää.
