Virva Moilanen

I offer speech therapy services in Oulu and surrounding areas, Raahe, Ylivieska region, and Central Ostrobothnia, mainly in Toholampi and Kannus. I also provide speech therapy as remote therapy throughout Finland. Therapy can be funded by Kela, welfare regions, or insurance companies. I offer speech therapy in Finnish, but environmental guidance is also available in English. I graduated as a speech therapist from the University of Oulu in 2015, after which I have worked in the private sector with clients of Kela's demanding medical rehabilitation and primary health care. In 2023, I also graduated as a solution-focused neuropsychiatric coach. I have attended several days of continuing education in myofunctional therapy. I have special expertise through continuing education and work experience with individuals on the autism spectrum and other children with neuropsychiatric diagnoses. I am also very familiar with the rehabilitation of specific language impairment and speech motor difficulties.
