I am a psychoanalyst of the Lacanian orientation (New Lacanian School, WAP) and I hold a PhD in psychoanalytic theory (CRMEP, KU). I have been working privately as a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist since 2018 in London, UK. I am experienced in working with various life crises (work, love and sex life), variety of mood disorders (depression, anxiety, different psychotic, neurotic and bipolar or borderline symptoms), various neurodevelopmental or structural conditions (ASD, ADHD, ADD) and endocrine disorders (PMDD, PMS). However, I am particularly trained in and like working with experiences and questions that cannot be articulated with psychiatric categories or escape common sense and normative thought. I also offer clinical supervision to psychotherapists of various trainings, as well as to health and social care professionals who wish to discuss individual case work, from the Lacanian orientation. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum, as well as their families, and have provided therapeutic support to trans or non-binary young adults, among others. I also have particular experience of working with selective mutism. I have supported and worked with people who have experienced intimate partner, sexual or political violence. In addition to private psychoanalytic work, I have worked in a variety of psychosocial support services and multi-agency teams in London for almost a decade, with refugees, migrants, domestic violence survivors and homeless young people. Due to my training and work experience, my approach is conversational and highly adaptable to different individual and singular needs. In addition to my psychoanalytic practice, I work as a researcher, focusing on the intellectual history of psychoanalysis as well as the history of psychiatry and psychotherapeutic training in Finland (University of Helsinki).
