Juha Räisänen

I graduated as a physiotherapist in 2017 and have been working as a masseur since 2011, including at Martin Kunto in Fuengirola, Spain. I primarily work with neurological clients and also deal with some musculoskeletal injuries. My approach is to assess the client's issues individually and holistically, and to work together with the client to identify the underlying factors of their symptoms. In my work, I use soft tissue and joint manipulation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and taping. In the musculoskeletal field, my clientele ranges from young athletes to retirees. I also have experience in rehabilitation after hip and knee replacement surgeries, as well as personal experience in rehabilitation following knee cartilage repair surgery. I work with clients in the clinic, through home visits, and in aquatic therapy. Exercise has been and continues to be a significant part of my life, with a background in ice hockey spanning over 20 years, as well as familiarity with football and mixed martial arts training. Due to this background, sports physiotherapy is also one of my interests in physiotherapy. Clients of all ages and fitness levels are welcome.
