Hei! Olen Eliisa Miettinen, haminalainen fysioterapeutti. Kipinä alalle syttyi vuonna 2001 Kymenlaakson keskussairaalan fysiatrian yksikössä. Ymmärsin silloin, että haluan auttaa ihmisiä kuntoutumaan kokonaisvaltaisesti. Valmistuin ensin hierojaksi vuonna 2003 ja sen jälkeen fysioterapeutiksi (AMK) vuonna 2006. Ennen siirtymistäni Haminan Fysioterapiaan työskentelin vuoteen 2020 asti Haminan sairaalan vuodeosastolla. Vuodet moniammatillisessa tiimissä lääkärien ja hoitajien kanssa tekivät erilaiset sairaudet ja leikkauksen jälkeisen kuntoutuksen tutuiksi. Samalla arvostukseni terveyden ylläpitämistä kohtaan kasvoi. Ajattelen, että fysioterapeutti on opettaja ja mahdollistaja. Pääroolissa on aina asiakas, joka ansaitsee loistaa, kokea onnistumisia ja oppia uutta kehostaan. Erityisosaamiseni ja palveluni: - Kelan vaativa lääkinnällinen kuntoutus: Neurologiset asiakkaat ja hyvinvointialueen kuntoutujat. - Psykofyysinen fysioterapia: Kipupotilaat, uupuneet sekä lastenpsykiatrian kirjolla olevat lapset ja nuoret. - Äitiysfysioterapia: Raskausajan ja synnytyksen jälkeinen kuntoutus sekä äitiysliikunta. - Liikekontrollin häiriöt: Jatkokouluttaudun parhaillaan Kinetic Control -menetelmään. - Kotikäynnit: Teen myös liikkuvaa työtä asiakkaiden kotona.
